Lei Chen: Brush

Short film “Brush” can be deemed as a metaphor of artists’ destination. The story is about an old artist trying to draw a horse, as his last masterpiece. In his illusion, he crashed into the canvas and entered the space of paper. He began to draw in the air. At the end of the story, the artist gave his own life to the horse. In 2006 this film was included in SIGGRAPH Electronic Theatre, which is a great honor in 3d animation field. So far it was the second time that Chinese animation ever entered this theater.
